These are the rules the admins set for the group, and they hold here too. They are short, and every one of them exists because it protects something.
Hard conversations are welcome. Disrespect is not.
You cannot have authentic community by restricting delicate topics. Traditionally avoided subjects like politics and religion are welcome here. We only ask that you handle them respectfully, and avoid name-calling. We understand passions and convictions exist, and we share them with you. Let us not let those valuable qualities drive us to disrespect. If it does get there, we reserve the right to shut the conversation down.
Only official partners advertise
All advertising is limited to official Dad Squad partners. These businesses are carefully vetted and help keep our events free and our community strong. No personal ads or self-promotion. This protects the space and honors those who support the mission. Interested in becoming a partner? Message the admins for details.
This space is for men
We deeply value and honor women, but this space is designed for men only, so they can be open, vulnerable, and grow together. For that reason women are not permitted in the group, and shared husband-and-wife profiles are not allowed. This keeps our discussions focused, protected, and consistent with the purpose of Dad Squad.
Grown-up, not crude
Vulgar or explicit sexual jokes, images, or behavior are not permitted. Mature discussion about sexual issues in our culture is welcome when it is handled with clarity and purpose. We confront sexual cultural distortion. We do not contribute to it.
What is said here stays here
Screenshots, sharing posts outside the group, or exposing another man’s struggle are strictly prohibited. Vulnerability requires trust and honor. This is the rule that makes every other conversation possible.
No asking for money
This group supports men so that no one struggles alone, but requests for money, donations or handouts are not allowed. If someone is in real need, leadership handles it privately. That keeps the community safe and focused.
