Welcome to Dad Squad.
Dad Squad exists to bring fathers together, strengthen brotherhood, and build real connections through local communities, events, and shared experiences.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dadsquad.org and the services, programs, events, memberships, communications, and other activities operated by Dad Squad LLC (“Dad Squad,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. About Dad Squad
Dad Squad is a community-focused organization connecting fathers through local squads, gatherings, service projects, leadership opportunities, and related programs.
Participation in the general Dad Squad community is free unless a particular event, product, membership benefit, or service expressly identifies a charge.
Dad Squad may offer optional products, premium benefits, business partnerships, and other paid services.
2. Eligibility and Participation
Dad Squad’s general membership and leadership programs are intended for adults.
Participants must provide accurate information when submitting applications, registering for activities, or using services that require identification.
We reserve the right to establish reasonable participation requirements, enforce community standards, and restrict access where necessary to protect our organization and members, subject to applicable law.
3. Community Standards
Dad Squad is built on brotherhood, respect, trust, and mutual support. Participants are expected to:
- Treat other members respectfully.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of community discussions.
- Avoid harassment, threats, intimidation, and unlawful conduct.
- Refrain from unauthorized advertising, solicitation, or self-promotion.
- Follow applicable event guidelines and community rules.
- Respect the authority of designated community administrators and organizers.
Additional community rules may apply to Facebook groups, local squads, and individual events. We may moderate content or restrict participation for violations of these standards.
4. Local Squads and City Leaders
Dad Squad may authorize individuals to organize local squads, coordinate activities, and represent the organization in designated capacities.
Submitting a Start a Squad application does not guarantee selection, approval, appointment, or authorization to represent Dad Squad.
City Leader responsibilities, territorial arrangements, brand usage rights, and other obligations may be governed by separate written agreements.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, participants may not represent themselves as employees, agents, franchisees, or official representatives of Dad Squad LLC.
5. Events and Activities
Dad Squad facilitates and promotes community gatherings, social events, service projects, and other activities.
Some events may be organized by independent members, volunteers, or third-party hosts.
Participation in activities is voluntary and may involve ordinary or elevated risks depending on the activity.
Participants are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment, following applicable laws and safety instructions, and determining whether an activity is appropriate for themselves and any guests or family members they bring.
Dad Squad does not guarantee the safety, availability, accessibility, or suitability of third-party venues or member-organized activities.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dad Squad is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages arising solely from the independent actions of participants, venues, or third-party organizers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Specific events may require additional waivers, acknowledgments, or participation agreements.
6. DadSquad+ and Membership Benefits
Dad Squad may offer optional benefits through DadSquad+, including access to participating business offers, discounts, rewards, or other membership features.
Benefits may vary by location, participating business, membership level, and availability.
Participating businesses are independently responsible for their products, services, pricing, and fulfillment.
Dad Squad may modify, suspend, or discontinue particular benefits subject to applicable agreements and legal requirements.
Any applicable pricing, billing terms, cancellation provisions, or promotional conditions will be disclosed when a paid service is offered.
7. Business Listings and Partnerships
Dad Squad may maintain business directories, preferred partner programs, sponsorship opportunities, and other commercial relationships.
Business listings and promotional opportunities may be subject to review and approval.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, inclusion in a directory does not constitute a guarantee, certification, or endorsement of a business’s products, services, or performance.
Separate agreements may govern sponsorships, preferred partnerships, advertising, revenue sharing, and other business arrangements.
8. SMS Messaging Terms
Dad Squad LLC offers optional SMS communications to individuals who have provided appropriate consent.
Eligibility
Dad Squad’s SMS messaging program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By opting in to receive text messages, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
Types of Messages
Informational messages may include Start a Squad application updates, appointment confirmations and reminders, squad onboarding information, event reminders, responses to inquiries, and related operational communications.
Marketing and promotional messages may include upcoming events and activities, community announcements, City Leader opportunities, DadSquad+ offers and benefits, partner promotions, and other Dad Squad marketing communications.
SMS Consent
Informational and marketing SMS consent may be collected through separate, optional checkboxes or other appropriately documented consent methods.
Providing a phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive marketing messages.
Consent to receive promotional SMS is not a condition of joining Dad Squad, participating in community activities, submitting an application, or purchasing goods or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your participation, communication preferences, and upcoming activities.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may unsubscribe from SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a Dad Squad text message.
After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message. No further messages will be sent to that number except as permitted by applicable law or following a valid new opt-in.

Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may depend on your carrier, device, network conditions, and other factors beyond Dad Squad’s control.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Necessary service providers may process messaging information solely to support communication delivery and related operations.

9. Email Communications
Dad Squad may send service-related emails in response to inquiries, applications, registrations, or other interactions.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not automatically terminate membership or other requested services.
10. Purchases and Payments
Certain products, merchandise, events, or optional services may require payment.
Prices, taxes, shipping charges, and other applicable fees will be disclosed before purchase.
Payments may be processed through third-party providers.
Refunds, returns, cancellations, and fulfillment obligations are governed by the applicable terms disclosed at the time of purchase and any mandatory consumer protection laws.
11. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The Dad Squad name, logos, branding, website content, graphics, and other original materials are owned by Dad Squad LLC or used with permission.
You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or use Dad Squad branding to imply an official affiliation without authorization.
Authorized City Leaders, partners, and licensees may receive limited rights under separate agreements.
12. User-Submitted Content
By submitting content to Dad Squad, including event descriptions, business listings, photographs, testimonials, or other materials, you represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide that content.
You grant Dad Squad a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and use submitted content for the purposes for which it was provided, including operating and promoting relevant community activities, subject to applicable law and any specific permissions or restrictions.
You retain ownership of your original content.
We may remove content that violates our policies, infringes third-party rights, or creates legal or safety concerns.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website and services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including Facebook, payment processors, communications providers, and participating businesses.
Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Dad Squad is not responsible for the independent practices or content of third-party services.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from membership, leadership participation, networking, events, or business relationships.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly provided in writing.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dad Squad LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or participation in its services.
Any limitations of liability are subject to applicable law and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
Separate written agreements or event-specific terms may establish additional rights and responsibilities.
