Short version: this is a community of men who meet up. Use the site honestly, look after each other, and remember that what happens at a meetup is between the men who were there.
Using the site
Membership is free. Do not share your login. Do not submit anything that is not yours to submit, including business details and logos. The group rules apply here as much as they do in the group, and the confidentiality one matters most: what a man shares stays with the men he shared it with.
Meeting up
Events are organized by ordinary members and squad leaders, not by professionals, and you come to them at your own risk. Use your own judgement, particularly around water, ranges, tools and anything involving your kids. Dad Squad is not responsible for what happens at a meetup, and nor are the venues hosting us.
The ask box is not a crisis service
It is read by ordinary men with jobs and families, when they can. Nobody is watching it overnight. If you are in danger or in crisis, call 988, text HOME to 741741, or call 911. Those numbers are on the ask page for a reason.
Businesses in the directory
A listing is not a guarantee of anybody’s work. Preferred partners pay a monthly sponsorship that keeps Dad Squad running, and we say so plainly on the directory. Hire anyone on your own judgement and settle your own disputes with them.
